Cookie Policy and Your Choices

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, like local storage and session storage, let a site remember things such as whether you are signed in and what you chose in this banner.

2. Consent, and what happens before you choose

Only strictly necessary cookies and storage are used before you make a choice. Analytics and marketing scripts are not loaded until you allow them, and switching a category off stops it again. You can accept all, reject all, or pick categories individually. One request happens regardless of your choice because the site cannot render without it: our web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, described in section 6.

4. Analytics

With your consent we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see which features are used. This includes pageviews, events we define ourselves, automatically captured clicks and page interactions, and basic page performance data. With the same consent we may also record replays of your session, but only inside the signed-in app: the public website, including this page, is never recorded. Replays have input masking enabled, so anything you type, such as captions, draft text, email addresses and passwords, is hidden rather than recorded. We never send draft text, captions, prompts, names, emails or workspace names as event data. Team members with a wemify.com email address are excluded from analytics and session replay entirely.

5. Marketing

With your consent we load the Meta Pixel on our public website, for example the home page, pricing and comparison pages, to measure how well our own campaigns work. If you reject marketing cookies, the pixel is never loaded. The pixel is not loaded on the signed-in app pages.

6. Third parties

Some providers set their own cookies or receive a request when you use Wemify: our authentication provider, Stripe during checkout, Google when you sign in with Google, and Cloudflare for bot protection. Our web font files are also loaded from Google Fonts on every page, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request; no cookie is set by it. These services are governed by their own policies. The full provider list is on the subprocessors page.

7. Managing your choice

You can reopen the banner and change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary storage will break signing in.
