How Wemify uses cookies and browser storage, minimal by design.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. Together they help websites remember things like login state and basic preferences.

2. How we use cookies and similar storage

  • Essential, needed to sign you in, keep your session active, and run core app functionality. These include the authentication session stored by our authentication provider.
  • Preferences, small UI choices stored locally in your browser, such as your cookie consent choice.
  • Product analytics, we may use minimal product analytics that do not personally identify you, to understand which features are used and how to improve them.
  • Marketing cookies, Wemify does not use third-party marketing or advertising cookies.

3. Stripe and payments

When you go through checkout or open the customer portal, Stripe may set its own cookies to process the payment securely. These are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies or storage, parts of the product may not work as expected, including signing in.

4a. Third-party cookies

Some third-party services we use (including Google authentication and Stripe payments) may set their own cookies. These are governed by the respective third parties' cookie policies.

5. Updates

We may update this cookie policy as the product evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
