AI & Data Policy

AI features run through the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes requests to Google Gemini models (currently Gemini 2.5 Flash and Flash Lite). Requests are made from our backend, never from your browser, and are authenticated with our own server credentials. Wemify does not send your data to any other AI provider.

• Writing and rewriting captions and drafts.
• Writing a caption from an image you uploaded.
• Adapting a draft to a specific channel, including hashtags.
• Marketing plans, campaign plans, campaign strategy and campaign drafts.
• Prepared work, where Wemify drafts something before you ask.
• The daily marketing brief, insights summaries and the marketing copilot.
• SEO ideas, clusters, briefs and opportunities.
• Ad copy assistance.

We send only the context the requested action needs. Depending on the feature that can include:

• The draft, caption, title or notes you are working on.
• Your brand profile and onboarding answers: industry, audience, goals, tone of voice.
• Campaign, marketing plan or brief context you created.
• The target channel, language, tone and length you selected.
• Aggregated performance signals from your own published posts, such as which formats and lengths performed better. These are numbers and labels, not other people's data.
• The image you attached, when you ask Wemify to write a caption from an image. Images are shared with the model as short-lived links or inline data for that single request.

We do not send your email address, password, payment data, social access tokens, or other members' personal details.

AI output is saved in your workspace as normal content: drafts, captions, plans, briefs, insights and prepared work. You can edit or delete it like anything else. We do not keep a separate prompt log; the inputs are simply the workspace records you already own. Requests are processed transiently by the AI provider and its infrastructure may retain them briefly for abuse monitoring.

Wemify does not train models. We do not build or fine-tune any model on your content, and we do not share your content with third parties for training purposes.

We use the AI gateway's paid API path, where the model provider's API terms apply rather than consumer product terms. Our understanding, as of the date at the top of this page, is that those terms do not allow API inputs and outputs to be used to train their models. This reflects the provider terms as we read them rather than a commitment we can make on their behalf; provider terms can change, and we will update this page if our understanding changes.

AI output is a starting point, not advice. It can be wrong, outdated or generic. Always review a draft before publishing. You remain responsible for what you publish, for its accuracy, and for complying with the rules of the platform you publish to. AI-written SEO ideas, scores and briefs are estimates based on your inputs and our own logic, not a guarantee of results. Keyword volumes and search result data shown in the SEO features come from a third-party SEO data provider, which receives the keywords and domains you enter.

AI features only run when you trigger them, for example when you click generate, adapt, rewrite or refresh a brief. Nothing is generated silently in the background without an action or setting you enabled. If you prefer not to use AI at all, you can write and publish manually and simply not use those buttons.

Do not paste sensitive personal data, credentials or confidential third-party information into prompts or drafts.
